Shannon has spent her entire career in digital marketing with nearly 20 years of experience. She started with Michigan Lottery in 2010 and quickly became a known digital expert in the industry. As the head of digital marketing Shannon was heavily involved in the initial planning, development and 2014 launch of the Michigan Lottery’s online sales program. In 2016 she took on the challenge of program director focusing on player experiences, customer retention and cross promotions with traditional retail locations to grow the online program leading to her receipt of the 2017 NASPL Powers award for performance excellence. Under Shannon’s leadership Michigan Lottery’s 2018 online sales reached nearly $800 million and net gaming revenue exceeded $100 million, earning the Lottery Operator of the Year award by Gaming Intelligence in February 2019.
