Dr. Russell Sanna joined the ICRG on March 1, 2016. He oversees the operations of the Center and works with the entire ICRG team on implementing its strategic plan to better enable fulfillment of its mission.
Most recently, Dr. Sanna was the Executive Director of the Harvard Medical School Division of Sleep Medicine. In earlier posts, he was the Associate Dean for External Relations at the Harvard Design School and the Assistant Director of the Harvard Art Museums. In all three roles, he was responsible for building and enhancing stakeholder networks and resource development. Before coming to Harvard, Dr. Sanna served as the Assistant Superintendent of the Solomon Mental Health Center in Lowell, MA.
Dr. Sanna completed his undergraduate degree in sociology at the University of Wyoming. He holds a master’s degree in social planning from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work and earned his PhD in policy analysis from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
