A 25+-year veteran in corporate communications and employee engagement, Kelley Tucky is a strategic communications consultant and owner of Ithos Strategic Communications, Ltd.
Ms. Tucky has accumulated an extensive body of work in gaming and hospitality focused on project management, cultural transformation and corporate communications.
During her tenure with MGM Resorts International, Ms. Tucky designed, staffed and successfully launched a variety of operational functions including loyalty marketing platforms, staffing and recruitment, health and wellness initiatives and community relations outreach. She led communications and engagement teams supporting the openings of Treasure Island, Bellagio, CityCenter and the opening and the re-opening of Beau Rivage in 2006 following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. She was responsible for grassroots campaigns and for securing workforce development partnerships that chalked up victories for the MGM Resorts development teams in Massachusetts and Maryland.
One of her most ambitious and rewarding leadership assignments was the operational model and execution of an enterprise Center of Excellence for internal communications, events, and communications supporting corporate strategic initiatives for MGM’s 80K employees.
Ms. Tucky graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in education focused on college student personnel. She is a board member for the nonprofit Girls on the Run, an after-school program for pre-teen girls that encourages character-building and development of self-esteem through physical fitness, and a moderator for Global Gaming Women’s “Lean In Circles.”
