Jennifer Weissman has close to twenty years of experience as a marketing executive within the gaming industry. Prior to joining Penn National Gaming, Inc. in November of 2015, Weissman spent 17 years in various marketing roles at Caesars Entertainment, formerly Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. Weissman started her career in gaming at Hollywood Casino Tunica, as a public relations coordinator.
Weissman is responsible for developing the strategic marketing plan for the Penn National Gaming, Inc. organization. She is focused on improving loyalty and customer satisfaction through a customer centric data and digital driven transformation.
Prior to joining Penn National Gaming, Inc., Weissman served as Regional Vice President for Caesars, overseeing the strategic marketing efforts for nine geographically and competitively diverse casinos and hotels that generate over $1.5 billion in gaming revenues. Weissman has extensive operational and strategic marketing experience, serving as the head of marketing at casinos in several of PENN’s current markets, including St. Louis, Tunica, and Chicagoland. Additionally, Jennifer was part of the opening team for the Harrah’s Rincon property in San Diego.
From 2008 until 2012 she served as Regional Vice President of Marketing for Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City, where she was responsible for developing and executing integrated strategies in a highly competitive environment. She lead the North Eastern division of Caesars Entertainment’s marketing organization and developed campaigns to highlight the Caesars Entertainment casinos and resorts as complete entertainment destinations, working hand-in-hand with the City of Atlantic City. She developed partnerships with the Food Network, HBO and the Tribeca Film Festival to create special events such as the Food Network Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival, the Atlantic City premiere of the famed Boardwalk Empire series, and the first-ever Tribeca Cinema Series at Caesars Atlantic City. Other signature events created under her leadership include OUT in Atlantic City (an LGBT-programmed weekend); The Caesars Tennis Classic; and the 2010 holiday special entitled’ The Caesars Tribute: A Salute to the Golden Age of American Skating, which was broadcast on NBC Christmas morning.
Weissman holds an M.B.A from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Journalism.
