Mr. Kaufman was a key senior executive at the premier (at the time) Las Vegas Dunes Hotel and Casino. He was successful in a number of positions starting with Assistant Credit Manager. At age 26 he was promoted to manage the Dunes Baccarat game, the largest and highest limit game in Las Vegas at the time. Five years later the hotel asked him to take over their fledgeling junket program. Under his supervision, the program grew from infancy into the stand-out marketing program in the industry. While in charge, he developed the first player evaluation program the industry had seen. That endeavour grew into today’s sophisticated player tracking and rewards systems used by casinos worldwide. He has consulted about casino marketing at Genting and South African casinos. He also designed marketing efforts for a number of hotel company solutions including a stint as head of marketing for CLS Hospitality Systems. He led the marketing and sales activity for the most advanced hotel revenue management system available at the time. About eleven years ago, he couldn’t resist getting re-involved by way of some moderate bingo activity for two charities in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he now resides as President, CEO and Board Chairman of National Child Safety Council and National Fire Safety Council.
