Chris is a Director at Causeway Media Partners, a growth stage venture capital firm investing at the intersection of sports, media and technology. The firm was founded in 2013 by a team of highly experienced venture investors who also own and operate the Boston Celtics and San Francisco 49ers. With its operating and investment expertise as well as deep sports experience, the Causeway team provides insight and relationships no other investors can bring to young companies connected to the global sports and entertainment markets.
Causeway has $345M in capital under management and has invested in over 15 category leading companies across amateur and professional sports, fitness, gaming, and entertainment. Chris is responsible for all aspects of the investment process and works closely with several of the firm’s portfolio companies, including FloSports, Formula E, Peerfit, SeatGeek, SquadLocker, and Zwift.
Prior to Causeway, Chris worked at two sports-focused private equity and venture capital investment firms: Moorad Sports Partners and KB Partners. He began his career at Cambridge Associates, a global investment advisory firm, where he helped manage billion of dollars in assets for institutional investors, including two prominent professional sports leagues. Chris received his MBA from Kellogg School of Management and his BA with Honors from Williams College.
