Southern Gaming Summit joins forces with ICE North America
Clarion Gaming has teamed up with the Mississippi Gaming and Hospitality Association to merge the Southern Gaming Summit (SGS) with its upcoming ICE North America show in New Orleans.
The SGS will relocate to the Big Easy as part of ICE NA between May 13-14 hosting its popular networking events, including its annual golf tournament, Global Gaming Women’s Luncheon and the renowned Hall of Fame, which honours the industry’s most influential leaders.
The collaboration will bring together delegates from all corners of the industry, combining the SGS’s strong heritage in the land-based and hospitality sectors with the ICE brands’ affiliation with sports betting and iGaming.
Leading voices from the Mississippi Gaming and Hospitality Association (MGHA) and its members will now be added to the ICE North America’s 150-plus-speaker conference program, available to exhibitors for free this year.
Larry Gregory, Executive Director of the MGHA, said: “ICE North America is one of the biggest events in the betting and gaming industry calendar attracting high-caliber delegates from all over the world. Combining the exhibition with SGS is the perfect marriage of land-based and online sectors.
“Our partnership with Clarion provides a hotbed of opportunity to share insights and expertise across all pillars of the gaming industry, and we look forward to learning from the wide spectrum of stakeholders already in line to attend.”
Clarion Event Director Rory Credland added: “We understand that the gaming industry is changing and that the gaming floor is now just one part of the bricks and mortar experience. Developing an event that allows delegates to seek answers and ideas on how to develop this, and to look at technology and attractions that add to this offering, is a vital part of what will be available to the attendees at ICE North America."
"The fact that the MGHA has recognised this and joined forces with us to co-locate SGS is great for the industry, as now gambling executives from across the USA can come to ICE North America and see and learn about what it takes to develop their property today and into the future."
“The SGS’s networking events are valued greatly by the Gulf Coast gaming community and will make a fantastic addition to the attention-grabbing lineup at ICE North America this year, which is shaping up to be a must attend event.”
