International Legislators’ Agenda (ILA) at ICE North America

In association with National Council of Legislators from Gaming States

May 13-14

ILA is for regulators, government officials and legislators only.

Attendance is complimentary, but requires RSVP

Just like at other ICE events in London, Brasilia and New York, International Legislators’ Agenda will host policy-makers, legislators and regulators in New Orleans at ICE North America for a program inclusive of learning and networking opportunities.

Composed of select relevant sessions from the main ICE North America Conference agenda and of exclusive, bespoke networking events (including the popular feature of the flagship ICE London event, Regulators’ Lunch), ICE North America Legislators’ Agenda will delve into some of the key questions legislators are posing as they are refining their legislative and regulatory plans for sports wagering and other interactive forms of gambling. Some of the themes to be discussed are:

  • Optimal taxation models for sports betting – learning from the variety of frameworks in the states regulated to date
  • Official data – mandated by legislation or left to market forces?
  • Enticing bettors away from offshore market
  • Affiliates – who are they and should they be regulated?
  • Betting on eSports – allow or ban?
  • Loot boxes, eSports skins, social gaming – how legislators should be responding to blurring lines between gaming and gambling

Detailed agenda to be announced soon.
